Robots if perfected would grow a desire for human emotions and life. This is the main discussion about Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? In which the world is in the future where robots dominate the land and real life is more scarce and is a sign of wealth. The main character Rick, who is a robot and a bounty hunter, hunts down other robots in order to afford a living animal to impress his peers. But as he goes on through his hunts he slowly gets more and more emotional and empathetic towards the people he is going after. While his wife also goes through the throws of emotions all of this despite them being robots. As the main message goes on about what makes something living and what's the difference. Overall, this book is full of psychological themes in which he overcomes and addresses his emotions about his killing and his wonder about the past when humans were much more common and what had led to this apocalyptic scenario where life started fading away. Furthermore, this book is great if the reader wants to stay up at night discussing the ideas revolving around the book. Whether robots really would have emotions and whether they were real or fake. This novel not only has a great story involved with action and sad moments all while trying to convey one main theme is astonishing. Anybody who is trying to find a book that would stick in their mind over time is perfect for this book. With great writing and its Sci-Fi fiction story slowly becoming more and more like the real world. In conclusion, this book is easily one of the best books I have ever read earning a nine out of ten with the only downfall being that it may not relate to all viewers' needs. But nonetheless, anyone who is interested in Sci-fi could be lured in and hooked after only a few minutes of reading.
