Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sachar (3/5)

This book starts from Tamaya’s perspective and introductions to the characters, the setting, the school, and the rules of the school one of them being: you are never to go into the woods. Then it switches to Marshall’s perspective, Marshall is Tamaya’s friend and neighbor, and Marshall has been challenged to fight Chad, Chad is the new trouble-maker kid everybody likes and Marshall needs to dodge the fight. In order to dodge the fight Marshall goes into the forest with Tamaya to return to their houses instead of taking the normal route they take. After getting lost in the forest Chad finds them and chases them. Tamaya then smashes this fuzzy mud into Chad’s face and Tamaya and Marshall leave. Earlier in time a company makes a man-made fuel source that doubles itself every 36 minutes. 36 minutes after Tamaya gets home she gets a tingle feeling on her arm. The next day she has a rash on her arm. Later in the day, she figures out the rash might be from the mud so she goes back into the woods with her lunch Chad is still there with his eyes and face swelled Tamaya then shares her lunch with Chad and Marshall comes and helps. Then the Police find the three of them and get them to a hospital. They then go into a lockdown and Chad and Tamaya are transported to the Hospital. Eventually, a cure is found and everyone gets cured.

I thought this book was interesting but I would not recommend this book to anyone over some of the other books I have read.

This book is a book that is easy so doing a homework assignment with this book or reading it in a day or three is the best use
