This book for me was pretty good Holly Jackson wrote it, and it was published in Great Britain in 2020 It's the 2nd sequel to Good Girls Guide to Murder. The theme of This book is Follow the Truth. Saying how to never just let something go because if Pippa had let this case go the truth would have never come out. After just resolving the Andie Bell case, Pippa’s friend's older brother, Jamie has gone missing recently. Pippa’s friend, Connor is begging her to help him since his older brother is 24 therefore he is an adult so the police refuse to help. He went out one night after a fight with his dad and never came home. The family thought that he was just in a rage and would soon come back but it's now been over 24 hours and the family of Jamie are getting worried. At first, Pip was hesitant to start the case because she had just finished wrapping up the last case that had left her traumatized and she didn't want to have to go through something like that again. She decides to do it for her friend and his family and of course Jamie. Pippa starts to dig more into Jamie's disappearance she starts to find things that don't add up. She starts to reveal more and more things that could have to do with his disappearance. Pip ended up being able to access his laptop after a few days of trying to get into it since his password remained unknown. She uncovered a bunch of things she would have never wanted to discover on Jamie's laptop. Pip also noticed that a six-inch knife had gone missing from the kitchen of his home just a few days before his disappearance leaving her a gut-wrenching feeling. This book is extremely thrilling to the readers and makes you never want to stop reading. It catches your attention within just the first few pages. The best thing about this book is that you never see what's coming. A lot of other authors found this book extremely exciting and worth the read. The book shows us how the use and abuse of technology can affect others as well as yourself.
