Good Omens by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett (5/5)

The ends of the world collide when the end of the world is on the horizon. Good Omens was written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and has a tv series adaptation. The plot follows Aziraphale and Crowley, an angel and a demon who realize they don’t want to let the world end. They must band together to find a misplaced Antichrist, a book of true prophecies, and the people who must help them stop God’s plan. This book is an ironic comedy that is exceedingly well written. Every character is full of life and detail and they flow together so well in the storyline and dialogue that you want to keep reading. The tv series is also one of the best book adaptations I have seen.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a story that doesn’t take itself too seriously and has brilliant characters. It is an amazing read.
