Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (4/5)

This book is an exceptional read, It was so good they made a musical about it. A brief summary of the plot is a convict named Jean Valjean becomes a businessman and a mayor after a lifetime of poverty and being in jail. He has just gotten used to being back in society when a man that looks like him gets arrested for crimes Jean Valjean accidentally committed previously. I really enjoyed reading this although it can be a bit challenging to understand at times. Fans of the musical and people who enjoy classical literature will love this.
