Review:
By the time the book was done I didn't realize… I didn't realize how into the story I was! This Novel is not part of a series and was very recently made and completed. The author has made multiple other great works but they weren’t as well crafted as this book. The author masterfully mixes SCP, steampunk, and mysteries powers together making a master full book. Even though it has its bases of these ideas it doesn't fully express the creator's spirit in this book. The creator makes use of them in unique ways that you would never think of and gives us the readers excellent plot twists that we would have never thought of. This book starts off slow and slowly picks up speed till the climax of the first volume. The basic plot of the book is about our main protagonist Klein Moretti previously known as Zhou Mingrui who was from earth but got transported into the body of Klein Moretti after he mysteriously shot himself. Through this, we learn about the world of mysteries and the pathways which you can go on in this world. While he is still collecting his thoughts he remembers an incantation which he did back on earth which brings him to this mysterious place. After all these ideals we follow him as he journeys through the world figuring out all the hidden puzzle pieces needed to solve why he was here and who brought him here. Two things I could critique this book on is at the beginning, where like I said it starts off pretty slow while going through his days and that at the beginning it starts with typical Chinese ideas and tropes which may turn people off but it quickly sheds those thoughts and starts to become it's own being separate from most of ours worlds ideals making it enjoyable by everyone. I still stand by what I said because this book gets really intriguing the more you look at it and the more you look at it the more depth you can see everywhere hidden in this book. With all this said I believe that this book is a masterpiece that is being hidden to the masses and if you get time or you're just bored I just start reading it. Don't blame me when you get hooked on it.
