Mythology, by Edith Hamilton was published in 1942 and is a fantasy and (some) short stories book. It is a library of different stories from mainly Greek mythology, but also includes Roman and Norse.
I enjoyed this book because it went into detail about all the different stories of gods and heroes in mythology. It also had stories about the origins of many allusions, such as the trojan horse, Narcissus, and many more. It also contains some Roman and Norse mythologies.
Overall, I think this book is pretty good. Although some stories are more boring than others. However, the great thing is that it has many stories, so if one bores you, you can just skip it and move on to the next.
