Otherworld by, Jason Segel (4/5)

Otherworld is a sci-fi type fantasy book about a young delinquent named Simon who manages to get his hands on brand new virtual reality which will change his life forever. Simon is a rich kid from a small town in New Jersey that always has everything handed to him and always finds ways to get himself into trouble. He has a best friend named Kat but Simon gets ghosted by her after he briefly moves, he hopes to reconnect with her in the Otherworld, a new groundbreaking virtual reality game. While reading this book there was never a dull moment, it always was very interesting and had you on the edge of your seat with its content and plot as you delve deeper into Simon’s life and the Otherworld. In addition, as a teen I felt like there were many themes I could relate to in Simon's life and I could put myself in his shoes. Overall, the goal of this review is to display that this is a great novel and I would recommend it especially to teens or young adults in particular, but it would be a good read for any age group. If you read this book I guarantee when you are finished you will be pleased and happy

that you did.
