Percy Jackson and The Olympians by Rick Riordan (4/5)

This book follows through with action-packed adventure-filled as the group of children of gods and goddesses go through their quest to save their camp. Going from an unpopular loser in school to a powerful demigod has changed, the main character, Percy Jackson’s life. Life as he knows it is on the verge of battle and danger around every corner. As he finds himself stuck in another dangerous rescue mission. Throughout the text, Percy, his friends, and his trusty sword use their knowledge of everything they have known and learned from camp to go on a rescue mission to find their friend. Along the way running into extremely rare unknown half-bloods and the evil lord himself, Kronos. They find their way through traps and hardships to become the heroes they want to be and need to be to save their friends. Overall, this book is never dull, making it always intriguing to read. Although it can be hard to keep up with if you have not read the other books and or the movie(s). It does a great job of keeping the reader interested as he continues to have something new the more you read. As someone who is very picky with books, if you love adventure, friendship, and engaging reads this book would be great for you. I was pleasantly surprised by how cultivating this book was, as I have read the first 2 and thought I might be boring, however, this book increasingly shocked me from beginning to end.
