Steven Gerrard played for Liverpool FC for the majority of his career and won many awards during his time there. He has since been recognized as one of the greatest midfielders to play in the premier league. In his autobiography, you learn about how his life was like off of the field, as he went through issues with his family and friends and how that affected his game. You also learn all about his own thoughts on all the important moments from each season he played in, giving a unique view of the game. I thought that this book was very interesting, especially because I have followed Liverpool for a very long time. I found that his perspective of the games he played in was very different from my personal interpretation of them. I thought that his view of internal affairs throughout the club was very interesting as well as that type of opinion is very rare. Overall, this book is a very fun read, especially if you are a soccer fan.
