In the story, “The Black Stallion” Alec, the main character:gets shipwrecked on an island far away from his home with nobody else, except a black stallion. Over time, the boy and the horse get closer and soon become great friends. They learn tricks and even have a whistle to signal each other. The Black Stallion is a great book for middle school and high school students. The plot is very thrilling, with twists and events you would never expect. The story never has a boring moment and keeps the story moving. I recommend watching the movie (The Black Stallion) after reading this book. This was a very fun read and I enjoyed it.
