R.A. Salvatore wrote the fantasy novel The Legacy, this is a novel in a series of many other books. This book is the 7th book in the Legend of Drizzt series. In this book, the main protagonist, Drizzt, is protecting his friends because there are a bunch of evil dark elves trying to hurt them and take their home from them. This book was an emotional roller coaster because it can take dark turns any second and no character is safe with this author. This was a very entertaining read because there is always at least one fight going on and it is full of action-packed fighting sequences. When it comes to this book I like how the author kept the setting completely in the Underdark and away from the surface world. I think the author could have expanded the places in the Underdark because the setting did seem kinda plain and it felt like the whole story was all in one place. I think this story has a couple of limitations because it can not focus on humans and surface elves since the story takes place completely underground. If I am going to be completely honest compared to other books in this series this was not one of my favorites however it is still a great book and I would definitely read it. My advice to future readers would be this series is so long and this is just one book in a long series so I really think you should give it a chance.
