The Magician's Nephew is from The Chronicles of Narnia and it is the first book in the series of seven books. The book is written by C.S. Lewis and it is a fantasy book. The theme of The Magician’s Nephew would be the beginning of the world and Christianity. The general conflict or the things that happen in the book are the Witch and the newly created people from Narnia with the humans. The storyline of The Magician's Nephew is in the beginning the humans discover magic and are trying to figure out how it works. Then they travel to different worlds and see the creation of Narnia. The Magician’s Nephew is an interesting book because they travel to different worlds and it shows the creation of a new one. It also has talking animals. I agree with the author on how if you don’t do what you're told to do you could have accidentally done something horrible. The book does not once show how the two main characters feel about the evil they unleahed or not to the extent that I wanted. Also this book is just meant to set up the events of the series so you won’t be left with any crazy feelings about this book. My argument for this book is that it is an alright book and that it just sets up the central themes of the book. This book does show a lot of events that happened in Christainity. This book is a decent beginning to the series. It is also interesting because of what happens in the book, like traveling between different worlds. The book does and doesn’t show the consequences of your actions as shown in the characters. You start to see the connections between Christianity and this book in the final chapters like the creation of Narnia or the garden. The book does go to a lot of places during the book like at the beginning they are in London then they go to three other worlds that I will not list. I like the contrast between the Lion Aslan and the Witch. Aslan is a very kind indvivdual and he creates life but the Witch is a very rude perosn aswell as spreading evil. Overall the Magician’s Nephew is a decent book and a good book to set up future events.
