Scout Finch is the main character of the book and she is the daughter of a lawyer, Atticus Finch. The story takes place in Alabama with her brother Jim, her dad Atticus, and she also had a house cook named Calpurnia. Throughout the book she learns the unfairness of race and inequality through the accusations of white people. The book was very interesting in my opinion because it was entertaining to see how race and equality have changed in the south throughout the years. I personally didn't agree with how the book portrayed Boo at the start of the book because the author made him really mistreated. The book suggests that you shouldn’t harm someone that is defenseless and innocent because it's like killing a mockingbird. The author did a great job making this book because it filled in the importance of equality. The book made me think before I judge someone because it's important for me to see from someone else's perspective first. Personally I thought the book was ok, and I’m glad it's over.
