We The Living by Ayn Rand (3/5)

The book is centered around a fictional family that is struggling to adapt to a new post-revolution, communist world. The once prosperous family is now stuck in communist poverty as all their progress in society has been undone. I was just expecting an easy historical read filled with facts about communist society and boring lectures but I was surprised to see it was a fun, entertaining story about an actually interesting topic. I think other readers should be advised that the book is intended for a mature, more adult audience, but is still a good read if you like historical fiction.
