With the squad’s life on the line more than ever, they’re forced to be ripped apart from each other in the battle that will determine whether or not the world will prevail. As they face utter peril, tension is high and most of the squad does not know who they can trust anymore, but trust might just be what’s holding their ropes together. In an undoubted teenage hormonal rage, many of the squadmates, now separated, turn to an intimate love that is also experiencing the most traumatic, excruciating days of their lives.
As the final book of the Aurora Cycle, it certainly wasn’t any type of letdown, however, there was way more intimacy between characters in this book than in the previous ones. Although I would say, the action picked up towards the end of the book, which made it a much better young adult/ sci-fi read. At times in the book there were chunks that seemed to repeat themselves, but overall a great read especially if you enjoyed the first two books.
In the end, if the Aurora Cycle has been something you’ve enjoyed reading I would suggest finishing out the series because it concludes questions you would have had from the previous books. Also, if you would like to read Aurora’s End, I would highly suggest reading the first two books beforehand since many of the terminologies will be confusing, and the context of the book wouldn’t make any sense.
