Badasses by John Madden is a brilliant book, to say the least. The book talks about John madden getting the job with the Oakland Raiders as the head coach. Not many people believed the Raiders would get to the point to be a superstar team. Those people were wrong, the raiders went on to win many many super bowls under the coaching of John Madden himself. John Madden is a legend amongst football fans then and is still to this day. The name “Madden” may seem familiar, it is the name of one of the most popular video games in the entire world. This book gave me such a joy to read and learn more about the amazing person John Madden was and the amazing coach he was. This book was absolutely amazing and loved almost every single minute of reading it. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is due to the extensive information presented in the book. This book is great and tells a brilliant story but I do have to say that in some scenarios it did get boring and I had to power through it. I would 100% recommend this book to anybody that loves sports and reading. If you enjoy those things then this book is the best pick-up out there.
