The Tyrants Tomb (4/5)

The Tyrants Tomb is the third and final book of the Trials of Apollo Trilogy. It is about the god Apollo being punished by his father Zeus to live among mortals until he has proven himself worthy. He meets a girl named Meg and another half-god, half-mortal people (demigods) as they try to seek and hunt down undead Roman emperors from ancient times. They must eliminate them to regain Zeus’s favor for Apollo to go back up to Olympus. In this final installment of the series, Apollo and his friends face their biggest challenges yet as they try to take down the evil emperor Caligus. They fight monsters, gods, and other mysterious creatures in this adventure novel. Since I read the other books in this series it made sense and created a somewhat satisfying conclusion to the series. The book was funny, had adventure, tragedy, and romance which provided a good combination. My advice to future readers would be to read previous Rick Riordan books and the other two installments in the series beforehand.
