Dune by Frank Herbert (4/5)

This book is about a futuristic dystopian society that is a quasi-feudal government, which means it’s kind of like feudalism in the way that there is one monarch with many other ruling houses. It focuses on the journey of Paul Atreides, the heir to House Atreides and born with special powers. This journey is started by the conflict between the Atreides and a rival house, which has been going on for centuries. This book is very good because it gives thought-provoking ideas about our society today all while telling a very good and intriguing story.

This book is the first one in a series that stretches 15,000 years in total, and if you enjoy the first book then you should definitely read the sequels.
