Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (5/5)

Orson Scott Card’s renowned science fiction prowess shines in Ender’s Game. Ender’s Game, published in 1985, is the first book in the Ender’s Game Series and takes place in 2195 shortly after the interaction with Formics (aliens) and their attempts at conquering Earth. Ender is destined to be the solution to the war despite the dormant state of the Formics over the past 50 years. The emotions and feelings of the characters are fully expressed through Card’s diction and the lucid imagery further excels the novel's enjoyment. This book is a must read for all lovers of science fiction novels and is a great starting point for those that are interested in the genre.
