Eragon by Christopher Paolini (4/5)

The book Eragon is about a 15-year-old named Eragon who finds a weird stone, then gets his home attacked and his uncle killed so he goes on a journey to get revenge with an old man named Brom. Along the way he learns about an old organization of people called Dragon Riders who are extinct, and gets put into the middle of the conflict of that situation.

The book was pretty good, there were a lot of cliches and predictable stuff in it, but overall it was fun to read and I think it was written pretty well.

So in conclusion the writing was a little juvenile but it’s a fun book and it actually does get even better in the sequels in my opinion.
