Foundation Trilogy by Issac Asimov (5/5)

With glimmering spaceships and multiple interplanetary races, Issac Asimov’s Foundation Trilogy provides a Star Warsesque plot that provides the basis for many modern Sci-Fi movies. In the trilogy, Asimov describes the formation of a Foundation which is exiled by the Galactic Empire (seem familiar?). The story is split into multiple parts spanning over many millennia with various protagonists, antagonists, and alliances. Overall I really like the current speed of the plot, which isn’t hurried or stagnant, as well as the complex personalities of the characters and how the characters influence what happens in the next section of the story. I would recommend this book to people looking for science fiction stories relating to the human race on multiple planets, similar to Star Trek/Star Wars.
