This literary study is a tool I suggest you utilize if you want to change your life. “GRIT” written in May 2016, highlights people that have endured and accomplished tough things. The book breaks down what makes up a gritty person and what does not. Researchers are in seek of figuring out what traits it takes to be gritty. They find that consistent deliberate practice is the ultimate path to success in any subject and those who do that and do well have 2 key traits. A love for what they do and an optimistic, learning-based approach to what they do. I recommend anyone who wants to progress in their practice read this book or even anyone who wants to grow as a person. This book will expand your knowledge of what it takes to be great as well as provide some insight into what your favorite authors and athletes did to be the best in their divisions. It is persuasive in its deeply researched conceptions. It gets the reader to ponder things they have given up in their life as well as paves a clear path on how to be a stronger person.-Kainoa Dozier
