Hour Of The Bees by Lindsay Eagar (2/5)

The Novel, Hour Of The Bees, by Lindsay Eagar, is a fictional story published in 2017. This novel is about a family who has to spend a summer with their very sick grandpa who was diagnosed with dementia and are helping him move into a home for people with dementia. The farm their family stays at is in the middle of nowhere and is one of the hottest and driest places. Their grandpa always says if there are bees there will be water, but they haven't seen bees in 100 years and the same goes with water. The granddaughter Caroline has started to enjoy her grandpa's company because of all the crazy stories he tells her, but she starts to wonder if anything he’s saying is even real because of his dementia. In my opinion, I don’t recommend this book, it wasn’t really exciting and it wasn’t making me want to read more, and it didn't really have a point to it and there was not really a clear storyline. For whoever wants to read this book, it is not a very interesting one, if you like action or mystery this is not the book for you, but if you like more heartfelt and touching books this would be a good read for you.
