The author of the book I'm reading is Hirohiko Araki. The title of the book is Jojo’s Bizzare Adventures Steel Ball Run. The book is fun historical fiction that is centered around a race from San Diego to New York. This is called the Steel Ball Run Race and it has lots of money for the 1st place winner. The main character is Johny Joestar and originally their main goal is the race but there is an evil reason for why the race is being held by the president the main antagonist of the story. This makes a Bizzare twist for Johny Joestar and his new friend Gyro and now instead of a horse race, they have to find out the truth and ultimately end up fighting the president. This book is very memorable and such a fun read that carries interesting dialogue and amazing art pieces on each page. I would recommend this book to anyone who has watched the previous parts in anime as it will make more sense. I would recommend this to people who have seen the anime and want to dive into more of the Jojo universe as this part is not animated yet.
