He starts the book out with an introduction where he tells us where he is from and what kinds of things he went through when he was a kid. He says he had a lot of hard times and he almost gave up many times before switching his mentality about life and becoming the person he is today. He mentions a lot that this book is not a self-help book, but a “wake-up call” for all the people who are struggling in the world. We have to rewire the lost connections with our hearts, and minds because it will help us in the long run. Goggins says that we have a lot of unused strength and ability to do a lot of things that we don’t think we can do, but all in our mind and we have to be able to access it. In this book, he will try to help you before you end up like he was earlier in his life. I like this book because it highlights what he does wrong and how he changes it and improves his daily lifestyle. I recommend this book to people who are looking to strengthen their mentality and become a better person for the rest of their life.
