Percy Jackson is an amazing read, a great book and I fully recommend it. Throughout the whole book character development is definitely a standout feature, at the beginning of the book Percy is a weak young man who can not do much and knows nothing of the world he is thrown into. Thankfully even if he is a bit different, Grover supports and helps percy through the whole book and as percy gets stronger Grover slowly becomes slightly stronger too. Annabeth also pulls Percy through many trials and supports him in everything he does, even if they didn't get along at the start. Another great part of this book is the action, through the book there are dozens of incredible fight scenes. My personal favorite part of Percy Jackson is the amount of detail the author puts into each scene, describing how characters look, how the environment is and what each of the characters are doing. During the book Percy has many trials, scaling from falling off of bridges to fighting gods, and yet no matter what, he pushes through with the help of his friends, along with some extra help from others. No matter how many times you read percy jackson it never gets old, the stunning scenes the author creates and the amazing greek mythology portrayed throughout the book just leaves you wanting more, thankfully Rick Riordan has you covered with the rest of the percy jackson series and his other books. But even with all of his other works, I always come back to Percy jackson. If you are a fan of Greek mythology or really mythology in general you will love percy jackson. Another special feature in percy jackson that is always hard to find in books is just genuinely good and funny characters, every single character fulfills their role perfectly, for example, the characters you are supposed to dislike, you dislike, the characters that you are supposed to like, you like. There is nothing wrong with this book, it is a classic. I love the book Percy Jackson. No matter what book you give me I would rather read Percy Jackson, it is a fun, enjoyable action packed book full of everything I would ever want in a book. I recommend completely.
