Cassia and the group from the Outer Province finally made their way to the cave. They search it finding a map to The Rebellion. Cassia wants to find The Rebellion’s Headquarters but Ky knows the danger and doesn’t want her to. They find a boat they can take downstream to The Rebellion. Only two people can fit in it and there are five of them. Hunter, after losing his daughter, decided to climb the mountains to find a new civilization. After some reconsidering Eli decided to join Hunter as it would be the best for him. That left the 3 of them, Indie, Cassia, and Ky. Ky being the strong brave person he is decided that he would go the distance and run to The Rebellion. He didn’t want to go but he loves Cassia, and his love is worth more than any of his choices. So, after some sad goodbyes, they all went to the places they had to go and Cassia and Indie set sail. When they made it there they had to give The Rebellion information. Cassia was excited to be there at The Rebellion’s headquarters. But what do they do to send her back to The Society to be an inside voice.
This book was full of twists and really gives a new perspective on the dystopian genre. Rebellion is something that comes out of a lot of dystopian books but the way that Ally Condie portrayed breaking out of The Society through this series really was unique. Seeing the Outer Province and the dismay of the war gives you a touch of sympathy for those aberrations fighting for a society that doesn’t include them.
This book helped me release many emotions like anger, sadness, joy, and despair. If you would like to go on a wild adventure through the cavern, the outer province, and Mapletree Borough, read the full matched series.
