Ruined by Amy Tintera (4/5)

Emelina Flores, a girl whose parents were murdered, is out for revenge. She joins a gang of rebel protesters and sneaks into a castle, pretending to be someone she is not. Unlike many others in her world, she does not possess any magical attributes, which makes her feel like an outcast. By infiltrating the royal family, Emelina finds herself falling for someone she never expected.

I truly did enjoy this beach read. It was something that captivated me and kept me hooked. One of the main factors that kept me intrigued was the blossoming romance between two “enemies.” This novel kept me on my toes and took me on a rollercoaster of emotions.

This is a good novel for those who like some adventure and a hint of romance. If you’re looking for some adventure, fantasy, and romance, this is the right book for you. There are a few violent scenes, so if that triggers you, I wouldn’t recommend reading this.
