Scarred By Emily McIntire (4/5)

This Fansaty book called Scarred was written by  Emily McIntire. The book demonstrates an interesting belief about understanding one another and thinking that just because you are the king then you are untraceable. The book is loosely based on Disney Lion King. The protagonist's father dies his overbearing brother takes the throne and lays waste to the kingdom. The protagonist and his love interest help remove the villain from the throne. This is a thrilling tale about two people sent to do the same mission, kill the king. The two protagonists in this story are Sarah and Tristan Sarah, is a noble from a town called Sylvia. Tristan is also known as the scarred prince, he wants to kill his brother. When Tristan was a young boy his older brother Michael, the king would abuse him would punch him until he was “blue and purple” (Emily McIntire). Sarah leaves Sylvia to go to the palace to murder the king. Sara also plans to kill King she later meets Tristan. The device is a plan to murder the king. This was an interesting book. This book's language is poetic and detailed. it has drama and violence. Throughout the book there are mysteries. There are murders and beautiful gardens. Friendships that last the book and much betrayal by Saras and Tristan's close friends. words and because I thought it was good but it wasn't the best book I have read. Sara and Tristan become close throughout the book as they help each other unknowingly. The prince travels the eagles of the city and back every night to help the rebellion. The book talks a lot about forgiveness and how no matter what happens we should always forgive. I believe this is an essential skill because no matter the person you should always forgive them. (Depending on what they did). The book covers many issues that we have today. Such as abuse, mistreatment of women, and classism. The book covers the ugly things in life that most people leave out, I enjoyed that part of the book. Scarred shows that there is mistreatment of everyone. In conclusion, I thought that Scarred was an amazing book. The poetic Sentence structures made the book all the more enjoyable. I highly suggest this book if you are looking for an easy read. This book was filled with mysteries betrayals violence and love.
