’’The Business Book, Big Ideas Simply Explained'’, by Philippa Anderson, Alexandra Black, Derny Machin, Ian Marcouse, and Nigel Watson, explains the fundamental ideas of how to grow your business. The book tells the success stories of many successful entrepreneurs like Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffet to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs. The book's tips and information can help businesses of all sizes and industries as well as help entrepreneurs get started on their journeys. The book highlights key business principles and provides business tips while also using bold colors and visuals to keep the reader engaged.
Despite this I didn't enjoy the book as it was repetitive and I believe that the bold colors were at times very overwhelming, on top of this I believe the images got repetitive over time. Because of this I decided to give this book a 3 out of 5. While the book contained a lot of good information and had bold colors and lots of visuals to attempt to keep the reader's attention, I didn't find the book to be an enjoyable read. The main reason I believe I didn't enjoy the book is because I believe that I wasn't too interested in the topic. Another factor for me not enjoying the book was how i believe it was meant to be read over a longer time while i read it quickly, i believe this also contributed to my view on the book.
While I didn't enjoy the book very much, I strongly believe that this book would be very informative and an enjoyable read to readers who are more interested in business. I would recommend this book to readers who are interested in starting their own business. While I didn't enjoy the read very much, I think that others would strongly disagree. Because of all of these reasons a had to give ‘’The business Book, Big Ideas Explained Simply” A 3 out of 5, while i believe there are many things that this book did well, i unfortunately wasn't able to get into the book enough to give it any higher score, while i will not read the book again i would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the world of business and anyone aspiring to be an entrepreneur.
