The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian is the fourth book entry in the series. The book is written by C. S. Lewis and it is a fantasy series that is fiction. The theme is that things can be restored just like how the characters are trying to restore Narnia to its former glory before the Telmarines took over Narnia. The conflict in this story is that the Telmarines have almost wiped out all of the fantasy creatures like dwarfs and giants. The Telmarines are also hunting all of the talking animals aswell. King Miraz wants to exterminate the rest of the creatures and his nephew Prince Caspian. Miraz wants to kill his nephew because he only needed him to be his heir but since he has a newly born son he now trys to kill Caspian. Prince Caspian escapes his uncle and flees to where the fantasy creature army is located. Also Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are teleported into Narnia where they have to restore Narnia to its former glory. The rest of the story would have spoilers but that is conflict in the story. The climax of the story is very entertaining to read. I won't go into detail about the climax but it is fun to read it happen. Also some of the characters are interesting like a talking mouse that fights the Telmarines. The author makes the story similar to Christianity like how Jesus was born and the characters are trying to restore Narnia. The connection to Christianity in this book isn’t as close as in the first book The Magician’s Nephew but I still see the connection. The problems in this story are that there aren’t any lessons that the reader can learn from the book and not make those same mistakes. But other than that it is fun to read the book and that is only a small issue. This book is a fun read because the climax is fun to read because of the events that happen in it. Also it does get kinda weird with some details like the talking mouse that fights. As a whole I would give this book a ⅘ stars.
