The Kane Chronicles; The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan is about a brother and sister, who barely know each other, is thrown into this world-threatening adventure with the Egyptian gods and has to figure out who they are and where their family comes from. It’s a comedy and relaxing read of action-fantasy fiction and the author does a great job of describing the scenes and putting together the plot and mystery. I thought it was a great book to read in your free time and is perfect if you looking for a fun, mystery, and character connecting book. If you like books like these, the author Rick Riordan has quite a few series that has this unique idea of taking in different gods (Greek/Roman gods, Egyptian gods - that’s this book, etc) and creating these characters that go on these action and mystery filled adventures. He also tends to twist in some jokes and comedy while you’re reading which makes it fun. I would suggest this for readers looking for a good free time book.
