The Magic Of Thinking Big By Dr. David Schwartz

The book that I chose, The Magic Of Thinking Big, is an exceptional reading that urges the significance of improvement and self-discipline. Written by Dr. David Schwartz, this novel focuses on creating a step-by-step plan that will instruct struggling individuals on how to transform their work, home, and relationship status. Readers are taken through Schwartz’s many recounts of how his teachings impacted the lives of numerous miserable and overworked employees and executives. This guide teaches you how to act and think like a leader, and presents instructions demonstrating how to slowly develop the number one mentality. Readers are given an exclusive look into the mind of a phenomenal expert of achieving success and fortune, who dispenses the knowledge of how to turn your dreams into reality by simply thinking. Schwartz, through his many years of instructing college students and low to medium income adults, reflects on how the only big thinkers that followed his advice profited and made millions. Not only does this book debrief the difference between the average, hopeless unbeliever who hates his job and does nothing to improve with that of a hard-working and humble commander of a skyrocketing business, it also provides us with the secret on how to reconstruct our lifestyle to match with that of a highly intelligent and accomplished person. The audience of this guidebook is obviously marketed towards young adults who are just starting work and while this read is not quite useful to me right now, I am certain that the information I gathered will pay off in the long run. While some references and remarks went over my head, I was able to understand the most crucial point of the whole book; to stand out from the people around you and maximize the effort you put into your work. As a result of the doctor speaking mainly to employed people, I had to translate everything he was saying into my school life and carry out the program with my classmates and teachers instead of coworkers and bosses. As someone who becomes easily bored with fantasy novels I truly found this book quite an interesting read, however, I did encounter some very boring sections that may irritate readers looking for thrilling stories. If so, I advise you to stay far away from this book. If you are someone looking to transform your life and potentially start a business on the other hand, I deeply encourage you to give this guide some consideration, as I believe you will gain invaluable lessons and support in becoming your own leader. My overview of this guide taught me that it doesn't matter where you come from or what obstacles hold you down, but the attitude and energy you bring towards your goals are what will determine the outcome of your success.
