The book that I chose to read was The Martian By Andy Weir. It is a fiction novel and is a science fiction book with a bunch of cool next gen references. It is all about how this guy gets stuck on Mars and his four crewmates think he is dead and have to leave him there to die. But, he gets through with it and tries to be able to survive on the red planet which is where a lot of nerdy stuff comes up. It was very interesting to read through seeing what we could do because there were a lot of cool inventions that could definitely be made in our lifetime. I do agree with the point the author makes which is that something will go wrong when going to mars and this may make scientists double check next time they are trying to make something be able to go to Mars.
