The Maze Runner: The Death Cure by James Dashner (5/5)

“White walls and silence” are not the words I would use to describe this book but it is what is keeping the main character Thomas

contained from his friends and his goal to stop WICKED. This is book three of a wonderful series called The Maze Runner.

In the previous books, Thomas and his friends escape “the Maze Trials” and WICKED who ends up tricking them and taking them back to complete a second trial through “The Scorch.” After completing these trials and losing many of his friends, he gets separated from them in a room that he stays in for a long period of ti

me.

After finally being released WICKED, an organization that claims to be working on a cure to save the world, tells Thomas and his friends about lots of their secrets and that the trials were done to help them find a cure. After all that they had been through, they didn’t trust WICKED in the slightest. They refused to co

operate with WICKED and eventually escaped to Denver where they met an organization called the right arm who wanted to take down WICKED.

I personally love this book and the books leading up to it. It’s full of action, suspense, and violence. I’m not much of a book reader, but this book never had a dull moment, and would keep wondering what would happen next. If you are interested in a Sci-fi/Apocalyptic book series I definitely recommend reading Maze Runner.

(The movie is good but the book is better!)
