“He was never meant to be hers. He was meant to be King. Meant to be hers. That had already been decided” (Kourtney Kiesel). This quote gives the introduction of how the story plays along with the main girl Renna Degray and the main guy ¨Trev¨, Renaa vibrant young girl who likes going outside and being away from her role in the royal council, usually compared with her stepsister Seran who is the optime of put together princess, for having etiquette and manners and usually favored by Renna's mother, the queen. While she doesn't like having to stand out and be a part of the royal family she never really felt connected to it because hse was born into it like her sister Seran. One day while on their trip her sister and her mom decide to make a stop at her childhood home where she used to spend time with her late father before her mother remarried after his passing. During her stay, she meets a mysterious guy whom she starts becoming friends with. I think this book was interesting because it had a plot twist regarding the main characters. But I think that it's still a normal book or plot that could be found in a fantasy book because they usually have something with royalty and situations and make the main girl stand out. I feel like the issue it addresses is finding somebody you love and you feel connected to. As well as feel like the author tried to get her pin across tough times with couples and to show their resilience and perseverance from it and the outcome of it. After reading this book I think that this is a book I would recommend to people because of its intersection with the dynamic with the main girl and her family as well as the main lead guy.
