The Stars, Like Dust by Isaac Asimov (5/5)

Updated: Oct 20, 2021

Isaac Asimov’s book ‘The Stars, Like Dust’ is centered on a man by the name of Biron Farrell who is attending the University of Earth. One morning he wakes up to what seems to be a normal day, only to find out that a radiation bomb was planted in his room. He is then evacuated, but now the question lingers, who planted the bomb? The answer will only drop him into a new hole of even more questions and as he figures out the answer to each of them, he meets new people on the way and gets himself into more trouble than one can imagine. The book follows Farrell and those who accompany him on an intergalactic trip with the thought of freedom for the galaxy in his mind.

The book was very well written and there were a LOT of plot-twists and the book gets better the longer you read it! It was a very enjoyable book in the end. I would have to advise those who read it to make sure they have a large vocabulary, because there are a lot of words and terms that are very “complex” for your average student. Another suggestion would be to get an audio book for it, since it’s way easier to understand what’s going on (at least for me) in the book. I used a youtube video for my audio, here is the link: The Stars, Like Dust (Audiobook)
