The Violin Conspiracy by Brednan Slocumb (5/5)

The Violin Conspiracy is about a man named Ray McMillian, who is a violin player with a dream of becoming a world-class professional player. As he is in high school, he finds gigs where he can play his instrument, earn money, and do what he loves. He finds a violin in his grandmother's attic, and as he later finds out, it’s one of the few Stradavarius violins left in the

world. He quickly rises into the classical music world, and just as the famous Tchaikovsky Competition is about to begin, his precious Stradavarius violin is stolen, with millions of dollars on the line, Ray better find his violin. This book details both the story behind how he got his violin in the first place and the thrilling chase to get it back. There are several suspects, such as his estranged family or another family who claim his violin as their own. Stradavarius violins are world-renowned for their incredible sound, and only 650 of these exist today. Every one of the fascinating instruments can go for 8 to 20 million dollars, and we don’t even know how they were made. This book is a great read if you enjoy mystery and music. I personally really liked it, as the author is amazing at all kinds of imagery. This book includes many different topics, so no matter what kind of books you read, you'll enjoy this one. All in all, I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading.
