The Wife Upstairs is essentially Jane Eyre. But this book is altered a bit from the story of Jane Eyre. In this version, Jane is a struggling former foster child, she meets a wealthy man named Eddie, but the relationship becomes complicated when Eddie´s former wife who disappeared gets involved. I absolutely loved the book, It always kept me intrigued all the way through. I would definitely recommend this book to my fellow students unless they get scared easily
