They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera (3.5/5)

You just found out you’re going to die today, what do you do? They Both Die at the End is the story of main characters Mateo and Rufus’s POV living their last day alive. As Mateo and Rufus find out they have one last day of life, they met each other through an app and spend the day together for one last hurrah. During this day they go through their ups and downs and they discover things about themselves and each other. This book definitely made me realize and reflect on the importance of life and allowed me to think about life and death from a different perspective. It was beautifully written and some parts of me could resonate with the characters. first, it was very hard to read as it is very slow-paced but towards the end, I felt anxious not knowing what comes next read quickly through the pages to find out. Certain important events felt rushed and I didn’t get to enjoy them. If you like an emotional book and thought-provoking, this is the book for you.
