You can be in love with two people at once, but you will not love them equally. This statement is supported by the book We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han, which is the third book in a trilogy. This book was published in 2011. The book is about college sophomore Belly and her relationship with Jeremiah Fisher, one of two sons of her mom's best friend. Belly's family and the Fishers had visited Cousins Beach every summer together. Belly grew up having a crush on the older Fisher brother, but after a series of events, she finds herself in a long-term relationship with Jeremiah. After having some conflict Jeremiah and Belly end up engaged, and there is a lot of drama between the two families. In the end, Belly discovers she still has feelings for Conrad and must decide which brother to spend the rest of her life with. I think that Jenny Han is a really good writer and this book is definitely a good read. Jenny Han's writing had me frustrated and furrowing my brow during high-tension moments, and taking sighs of relief when problems were resolved. Although the writing was very good, I found the main character a little irritating for acting so immaturely and often making childish choices. Overall, the book was a very good read that kept me interested throughout its entirety. I think that hopeless romantics would very much like this book, it has one of those "meant-to-be" storylines where the love interest keeps coming back into the life of the protagonist no matter how hard they try to get rid of feelings for the love interest. I chose 4/5 stars for this book because the writing is very good and I was thoroughly interested, but it is difficult to get through some parts because of the childish choices made by Belly.
