Simu Liu, a famous actor that stars in the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings that came out in theaters in 2021. He has written an amazing novel about his life and the experiences he encountered before staring in a Marvel Movie. Liu is an immigrant from Harbin, China. He spent most of his childhood with his grandparents while his parents were working and trying to get a degree in college. He tells about his first job, his first love, and the start of his acting career.

This book is inspirational, encouraging, and fun. I have loved reading this book. Even though some parts are not as f

un to read when he talks about the accounting career that he despised. His jokes, comments, and storytelling make his life engaging and fun to read about.

I encourage students to read this book. It gives you a sense of what immigrants go through and what work they have to do to move to a new country for a better life.
