What is Real? by Adam Becker (5/5)

If a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, did it really fall? Did it even exist? How do we know if anything exists? This book talks about the most heated scientific and theoretical debates over the last century which includes Einstein, Bohr, Everett, and many other Nobel

prize winning physicists. This book includes the heated debates against the widely renown Copenhagen interpretation, which include the pilot wave theory, the multiple worlds theory, string theory, and several others. This novel goes very in depth without getting into too much math, so it is appropriate for someone who has no background knowledge on the topic. I was completely blown away by almost every chapter of this book with the theories presented and by the way that the quantum world functions. This is one of my favorite books ever and was a very good read. That being said, I would not recommend it to anyone who isn’t considering going into quantum mechanics because it will only confuse you with irrelevant information to your life. In conclusion, this book was a 10/10 but I would probably not recommend it.
