My brother recommended this book to me a while ago, but i just now got to it, it did not disappoint. This book is one of the best i have ever read because of how creative this book is, It follows the heroes journey pretty well, but it does it in such a good way, the author paints a great picture using imagery to describe where the character is. Even thought this book is kinda short and a pretty low level read it is so good because of how childish the book is presented. Also, in the story there are mini legends about the place where they live to give context on certain characters, places or traditions, these mini stories are very interesting and they also have very well done drawings next to them to make you really paint a picture in your head of whats going onthe main character is very inspiring and her friends are so interesting and that is what makes this book very good in my opinion. Because this book is pretty easy to read, I recommend reading it in one sitting, it might take a few hours but i bet the story would be that much better if you did, also recommend this to younger siblings if you have them because this book would be much more influential reading it as a younger child. Also i would read this in a very quiet environment to really soak in the beauty of this book because i loved imagining what was happening because this world is realistic but also their are some aspects that are fantasy which is very cool. I would highly recommend this book to people of all ages.
