A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson (5/5)

No one really knew the true Andie Bell. A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. The book was published in 2019. This book is part of a series and it’s the first book. It’s very important to read this book first since it explains the storyline. Andie Bell was a young, popular, high school girl who got murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh. Now five years later Pip decides to research the case of Andie Bell for a school project. With the help of her friends and family, Pip seeks to find out the real story behind the Andie Bell case. She never knew what uncovering these secrets could do to her life. Was it Andie's secrets that killed her? There are so many unexpected twists that will leave you wanting to read more! As a young reader who really enjoys murder-mystery books, I can easily say that this book is by far one of the best I have read. The way Holly Jackson adds so much detail to every character and scene makes you believe that you’re really there. This book was definitely interesting. Holly Jackson knows how to captivate the reader's attention. If a scene is supposed to be sad you will definitely feel sad and you might even shed a tear. The book can be slow at times, but all of sudden there is a huge twist. You will definitely fall in love with some of the characters and despise others. This book makes you question a lot of things. Who can you really trust? Are your secrets safe? Do we really know someone? This is the first book of hers that I have read and I definitely plan on reading more. This book is amazing! If you’re interested in a page-turning book. Then A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson is my recommendation to you. I believe that this book is meant for teens since it’s the age group that will be able to relate to this book the most, but anyone can read it. After reading the book you can clearly see why I gave this book 5/5 stars.
