Public Speaking for Dummies by Malcom Kushner (4/5)

Public Speaking for Dummies by Malcom Kushner is a self-help book that includes a series of informational tips to discuss mistakes and successes regarding speaking experienced by people in the past. This is to demonstrate and discuss the situations to logically explain what would happen to possible outcomes through an indirect creative theme. The elements are discussed with great depth in each chapter. This is followed with organized categories to further convey the knowledge. Each chapter focuses on covering different aspects of public speaking and could be applied with other strategies as well. The novel shows you how “success or failure” is affected by “how you speak” (Kushner 1). The book is constructive and interesting since it provides advice on how to become a better public speaker in general. I agree with all the tips since it demonstrates how much of a positive impact it can have on life. Online articles of public speaking revolve around some of the information stated in the book supporting the facts stated in the book. The book gave me a better insight into what I think of people when having social conversations and really gave me an idea of how to be more successful. Public Speaking for Dummies states key tips, explains why the tips are useful by providing real-life example scenarios. It gives advice on how people can improve relationships with others, making smarter decisions, and social interactions in general. It is intended to help you succeed in the long term.
