Ready Player One written by Ernest Cline is an adventurous science fiction novel with the main protagonist persevering and showing courage in order to move on. The main plot follows Wade Watts in the year 2045 where everyone uses virtual reality in order to escape the outside world. When participating in an Easter egg hunt made by the creator, he makes many new allies and enemies to complete the contest. The book itself is very entertaining to read and I would read it again. It shows an interesting topic about how the world might change in the future for the worse seeing as the book doesn’t take too far away. With global warming, the world could have a possibility of ending up like this. This book was written well and talks about a possible reality that we might have in the future. If you plan on reading this book watch for mild swearing from time to time.
