With all of the chaos surrounding Rob’s sister’s wedding, the last thing the Mallory family needs to deal with is the death of their neighbor Mrs.Calloway. I found this novel humorous and well written, however it was very predictable and became boring to read after a while. I carried a sort of underwhelmed feeling with me for most of the book, until the climax. The peak of the story was definitely more towards the end of the book and I am glad that I kept reading long enough to be informed of all the little underlying events that I did not read too much into originally. The one part about this book that I found shocking was the interaction between Rob and his sister’s former boyfriend Derek, that took place within the last few pages. I wish Roberts would have done a better job leading up to the end of the story and making the rest of the novel just as engaging as the last part. I do not think I would recommend this book, but it is an easy read and a book that can be read to just pass the time if needed.
